Description

For rock lovers entering grades 4-6! How do geodes form? This program explores basic geology, followed by some exploration of rocks and geodes. See if you can identify all the rocks that we bring in. Everyone will get to crack open a geode and take it home. 

This activity is part of the Ridgefield Library's 2024 Summer Reading Program: Adventure Begins at Your Library and is sponsored by the Friends of the Ridgefield Library.
