Divorce Resource CT is a group of professionals from various disciplines who work with clients in various stages of the divorce process. From telling the children to updating estate plans to taking care of your mental health and legal and financial matters, these professionals will help your family transition smoothly through the divorce process. Agenda: The Divorce Resource CT professionals will be hosting a round table discussion on divorce transitions: family, finances, and future. Specific topics addressed will include positive communication within the family through the divorce process, the new tax law rules specific to alimony, tax considerations related to children and assets, valuing the marital home and determining whether to maintain or sell, refinancing and mortgage considerations, and post divorce financial planning.
