Program Description

Description

Sacred, earthy and luminous, born of stillness, memory, and slow transformation. In a world that moves to quickly, you’re invited into a quieter rhythm. Into the hush of the forest floor, where moss softens stone and dappled light finds its way through the canopy. Inspired by years spent in the mountains of North Carolina where she found healing and restoration. Each painting is a kind of visual hymn-an offering of stillness, grace and thanksgiving.

Colleen Kastner is a South African born mixed-media artist that is inspired by the natural world. Before becoming a full-time artist, she worked as a journalist and a licensed mental health counselor. She leads creative healing retreats and online courses.
