TeensProgram Description
Description
This financial literacy simulation gives teens the opportunity to imagine their lives as single young adults. They select careers and discover their starting salaries and estimated taxes. They make spending decisions and focus on living within their incomes. They also learn to save and deal with unexpected expenses. Faye Griffiths-Smith, family economics and resource management educator with UConn Extension will lead this workshop. It is provided by UConn Extension and the Connecticut Saves Campaign.
This program is supported by the Ridgefield Thrift Shop
