Join us for the launch of Flown, a new poetry chapbook by Barb Jennes. An elegy-in-verse, the poems in Flown weave between portentous childhood memories and the inexorable progress of the disease that would ultimately take her sister's life.
Says poet Terry Blackhawk, "Jennes delivers her unwavering, clear-eyed poems with a heartache made all the more unbearable by their simplicity." Barb Jennes is an award-winning poet whose collection Blinded Birds was awarded the International Book Award for a Poetry Chapbook in 2022. She served as the poet laureate of Ridgefield from 2020-2023.
