Program Description

Description

Come meet the artists! There will be an artists' reception for artists Randy Carboni and Alison Booth who are exhibiting their artworks in a group show titled, "The Expressive Paintings of Randy Carboni and Alison Booth" which is on view primarily during the month of September. Randy Carboni depicts a wide range of real life subjects and works in a fluid style with ink and watercolor. He has been on the board of both the Ridgefield Guild of Artists and the Ridgefield Arts Council.

Alison Booth, a Taiwanese-American visual artist and art teacher, was born and raised in New York City. As a painter she uses color in her representational artworks to convey emotions, both positive and negative. She believes art making is an ever-evolving way of seeing and creating. She received her Master's degree in Art and Teaching Fine Art (preK-12) in 2023 from Manhattanville, College. Refreshments will be served.
