A Spirited History of Drinking

Join cocktail author and educator Anthony Caporale as he distills our 100,000-year relationship with alcohol into 90 minutes of science, storytelling, and humor!  Known for his dynamic and entertaining delivery, this veteran New York performer will draw from his smash-hit "Imbible" series of New York musicals about the history of cocktails and spirits to explore why we drink, what we drink, and how alcohol has shaped nearly every aspect of human culture -- from recreation, nutrition, and healthcare to economics, trade, and technology.  During this one-of-a-kind presentation, Anthony will ferment honey into mead in real time, conduct a live demonstration of distillation, and use accelerated aging to show how oak magically transforms clear spirits into whiskey.  You won't want to miss this utterly unique evening of fun, facts, and fables, all viewed through a liquid lens!
